Calligraphy artist Bian Jingxuan is a graduate of Jilin University and has been researching, practicing and perfecting the art of calligraphy for over 30 years.
What started as an interest that was introduced by his uncle Bian Wenyuan turned out to be a lifelong pursuit with teachings passed to him from masters of calligraphy such as Liu Bingsen, Fu Shaowei and Chen Xin.
Mr. Bian Jingxuan has special interest in the calligraphy styles of Regular Script (Kai), Official Script (Li), Cursive Script (Xing) and he is particularly proficient in the Cursive Script style of calligraphy.
Mr. Bian Jingxuan is extremely active in the calligraphy scene, holding several memberships:
China Calligraphers Association, Member.
China Elder Calligraphy Research Association, Member.
Jilin Elder Calligraphy Research Association, Member.
Liu Bingsen Calligraphy Research Association, Honorary President.
Jilin International Calligraphy Association, Vice President.
His works have been entered in exhibitions such as the 9th and 10th edition of the National Calligraphy exhibition and the 2019 edition of Jilin Calligraphy Exhibit. In addition, Mr. Bian Jingxuan has won numerous prizes:
