Description
In my series, "Ceramics on Canvas," I aim to create a dynamic and immersive installation that challenges traditional boundaries. Each piece in this series is a carefully orchestrated marriage of a wooden painting frame and intricately crafted ceramic elements positioned behind it. From the frontal perspective, the installation appears as a mesmerizing painting, enhanced by mood lighting that elicits a range of emotions. However, the true magic of the series is revealed upon closer inspection as viewers navigate around the artwork. The three-dimensional nature of the ceramic pieces unfolds, offering a hidden layer of detail and complexity. This deliberate juxtaposition encourages engagement and exploration, inviting the audience to experience the artwork from multiple viewpoints. "Ceramics on Canvas" is a testament to the harmonious convergence of form and function, inviting viewers to transcend the conventional boundaries of artistic mediums and immerse themselves in the fusion of texture, colour, and dimensionality.
